<span style="font-size:14px;">A Compensa&ccedil;&atilde;o Financeira pela Utiliza&ccedil;&atilde;o dos Recursos H&iacute;dricos (CFURH), destinada mensalmente pela Usina Hidrel&eacute;trica Estreito aos munic&iacute;pios de sua &aacute;rea de abrang&ecirc;ncia, nos estados do Tocantins, Maranh&atilde;o e Goi&aacute;s, al&eacute;m de &oacute;rg&atilde;os do governo federal, j&aacute; alcan&ccedil;ou o montante de R$ 82.313.338,62. No m&ecirc;s de fevereiro, o valor destinado foi de R$ 2.925.465,80.<br /> <br /> A Compensa&ccedil;&atilde;o &eacute; um valor destinado mensalmente pela Usina em decorr&ecirc;ncia do uso da &aacute;gua para a gera&ccedil;&atilde;o de energia. Como o reservat&oacute;rio ocupou parcialmente terras de munic&iacute;pios da regi&atilde;o, cabe a Usina compens&aacute;-los, al&eacute;m dos estados do Tocantins, Maranh&atilde;o e Goi&aacute;s, al&eacute;m de &oacute;rg&atilde;os do governo federal, como os Minist&eacute;rios do Meio Ambiente e de Minas e Energia.<br /> <br /> O montante repassado a cada entidade obedece a um percentual previamente estabelecido. No caso dos munic&iacute;pios, o valor &eacute; proporcional &agrave; &aacute;rea ocupada pelo reservat&oacute;rio. A CFURH &eacute; paga em fun&ccedil;&atilde;o da gera&ccedil;&atilde;o de energia.
